Welcome! We are Couplet & Barnes Specialist Cleaning Services

We like to keep things simple, honest. It’s our mission to create an improvement to people’s lives through clean spaces – really, that’s it!

Our Story

Identical twins Aaron and Ashley spent their early working life in the leisure and tourism industry, where they could exercise their love for meeting new people and their selfless personalities, going out of their way and taking great pride in being able to deliver a great experience to people – creating holidays that will last a lifetime!

The twins moved into the demolition industry and were employed to conduct the decontamination of hazardous substances and material, environmental cleaning and fine cleaning. This high-level of cleaning was heavily enforced by the HSE, who have very particular rules and regulations and have to be inspected by an independent analyst via microscopic examination in order to be deemed clean and safe. Their work involved working at height, confined spaces, hazmat suits, decontamination procedures and specialist tools and equipment to get the job done.

After experiencing a terrible cleaning service, Aaron and Ashley noticed a market saturated with poor services and sub-par customer service. They felt that with their experiences and approach they could fill the gap and create a specialised cleaning company that provided outstanding results and a great customer experience.

Couplet, meaning two similar lines in poetry, such as twins Aaron and Ashley, and Barnes being our surname, formed Couplet & Barnes.
