OUR TESTED AND TRIALLED 9-STEP CARPET CLEANING PROCESSS

1. Pre-Test Inspection

We start with a visual inspection and testing measures to determine the safest and most effective cleaning techniques. Identify pile reversal, fade, wear and other issues that may alter the way we deliver the clean - as described in the profession as burn tests, tensile strength testing, patch tests, and dye bleed testing.

2. Dry Soil Removal

Your Carpets are terrific at hiding dirt before it shows! Using powerful vacuums and hand scrapers, we’ll remove loose soils like pet dander, hair, mud and dirt.

3. Pile Lift

We lift carpet piles using hand groomers to ensure fibres are un-matted, separated and standing on end. This makes sure the cleaning solution works its way into the fibres and doesn’t just sit on top.

4. Pre-Spray Application

We apply pet-safe, environmentally friendly and effective cleaning solutions that eliminate odours and dislodge bound soils. We apply the solution using electric hand sprayer application systems and leave to dwell for 10 minutes to eat away the dirt and grime.

5. Agitation

We thoroughly agitate by scrubbing solutions using mechanical CRB machines, drill brushes, this crucial step dislodges soils, providing a deep clean.

6. Hot Water Extraction

We’ll deep clean your carpet using our market leading hot water extraction machine. Clean hot water and detergent rinse is jetted into the area, providing the deepest clean. The dirty water containing all of your old soiling is then extracted back out to us. The rinse solution balances PH and prevents your carpets from rapid re-soil - leaving your carpet clean for longer.

7. Speed Drying

Your carpets will be touch damp after your clean, so we encourage drying times by using air movers that transition the moisture from the fibres back in to the air, meaning you can enjoy your new, clean carpet sooner.

8. Grooming

The Professional term for the lines left behind after a clean is ‘Shark Teeth’. But don’t worry, we groom these out using carpet rakes pushing fibres and naps back in to a uniform natural direction.

9. Free Deodorising

Unlike other carpet cleaning professionals, light stain removal and deodoriser is fully inclusive within our service. However, heavy-set staining and specialist staining will require adapted techniques.

We’ll need two plug sockets, running water, and a clear space free of pets and people. Street parking should be available. Machinery is set up outside with hoses running through a partially open front door, protected with tarps and corner guards. Payment is required immediately after the service, and waste water must be disposed of in the toilet.

Stain Removal

Stain removal processes depend on the carpet fibres. Acidic stains like tea, coffee, and wine can deeply dye natural fibres like wool, making them tough to clean. Synthetic fibres like polypropylene, on the other hand, attract oil-based stains from grease and lipstick. Removing tough stains like these requires special techniques and chemicals, which can add to the cost.

Pet accidents need enzyme treatments to break down urine crystals and eliminate odours – so please do be honest about these as it might mean lifting the carpet.
