Our Tested and Trialled 8-Step Upholstery Cleaning Process

1. Inspection

We start with a thorough look at your upholstery to choose the best cleaning method. Identifying the make-up and condition of the Upholstery, coupled with strict testing procedures, are key steps in our process and may alter the way we deliver the clean.

2. Dry Soil Removal

Your sofas are brilliant at hiding dirt before it shows (dry soil removal is about 50% of the job).
We’ll remove soils that haven’t bound to the fabric, such as pet dander, hair, mud, food partials, dirt and dead skin cells. We do this using powerful professional grade vacuums with a 99.7% S class filtration system. Hand scrapers are carefully used for areas heavily covered in pet hair.

3. Cleaning Solution Application

We’ll evenly apply top shelf, environmentally friendly, pet safe cleaning solutions that eliminate odours, and dislodge common soiling that has bound to the fibres or fabric of your beloved upholstery.

4. Agitation

We thoroughly agitate scrubbing solutions using mechanical drill brushes. This crucial step dislodges stubborn soils, providing a thorough clean.
Some styles of upholstery such as chenille may require a more delicate approach to agitation, which will be determined during your pre-survey.

5. Hot Water Extraction (AKA, Steam Cleaning)

This is where the magic happens! We deep clean using our market leading hot water extraction machine.
Clean hot water and detergent rinse is jetted into the area to provide the deepest clean.
Dirty water containing all of your old soiling is then extracted out and the rinse solution balances the PH and prevents your upholstery from rapid re-soil.

6. Terry Towel & Grooming

Upholstery steam cleaning naturally leaves the napping distorted, so we hand dry your upholstery with Terry towels to remove surface moisture, we do this in a natural uniform direction to ensure your suites are groomed back into position.

7. Speed Drying

Your upholstery will be a touch damp after your clean – but don’t worry, we speed up the drying process by using air movers that transition the moisture from the fibres back in to the air.
So, you can love your cleaned items sooner!

8. Free Deodorising

Our upholstery cleaning services eliminate odours, however we believe upholstery deserves so much more than that – which is we carry a variety of deodorised fragrances to suit.

Unlike other upholstery cleaning professionals, light stain removal and deodoriser is fully inclusive within our service. However, heavy-set staining and specialist staining will require specialist techniques.
Upholstery un-suitable for wet cleaning methods will be dry cleaned or encapsulated. This will be determined in our pre-inspection survey.

Professional upholstery cleaning starts at £25.00 per seat with a minimum call-out fee of £80.00 for domestic properties.
